Gucci was founded by Gucci Gucci in Florence, Italy in 1921. As one of the most powerful fashion heavyweights in the world, Gucci specializes in clothing, accessories, shoes, leather goods and of course world famous Gucci sunglasses. Gucci has been at the pinnacle of chic due to icons such as Audrey Hepburn and Jacqueline Onassis in the early 70's. Even though there were some major shakeups during the 80's, the turnaround of the company in the late 1980s has made Gucci one of the world's most influential fashion houses. The famous GG logo defines luxury and makes Gucci's eyeglasses and sunglasses instantly recognizable. Gucci frames have taken over as the fashion statement of Italy's fashionistas.
