Prada was founded by Mario Prada in 1913. Initially, the shop sold leather goods and imported English steamer trunks and handbags. Gradually throughout the 20th century, Prada ascended into a high-fashion brand with hit lines such as the classic Prada handbags and nylon tote. Available for both men and women, Prada eyeglasses and Prada sunglasses have always been distinctive not only for its high quality, but also for its forward-thinking approach and style, enabling the brand to anticipate and often orientate trends. Prada has integrated into our culture as one of the most influential fashion label today, even the book (and film) "The Devil Wears Prada" was named after the brand.
